We have certainly have had an eventful past few days. From releasing our new Profession Quests, to introducing some very exciting news as we prepare to introduce a new realm, the DeFi Kingdoms ecosystem only continues to grow.
As you can see, there is quite a lot to unpack! So, without further ado, let us begin.

Introducing DeFi Kingdoms: Crystalvale
DeFi Kingdoms: Crystalvale will be our first official cross-chain expansion as we join Avalanche.
Crystalvale will introduce a multitude of new features, resources and Heroes with unique genes. CRYSTAL will be the native token for DeFi Kingdoms: Crystalvale. We will launch the new realm with three starting locations: the Marketplace, (Ice) Gardens and Bank.
You will be able to earn CRYSTAL by single staking your JEWEL tokens, which can be bridged over from Harmony to Avalanche (via Anyswap, or the ‘Docks’ location in DeFi Kingdoms: Serendale).
You can currently purchase JEWEL on Avalanche via Pangolin or Trader Joe as well. Below, you can read more about what DeFi Kingdoms: Crystalvale will entail:
Quests, Gold & Inventory
Let’s kick things off with our first Profession Quests: Foraging and Fishing. You can sent your Heroes on these Quests by clicking on the ‘Professions’ location, then either the ‘Forager’ or ‘Fisher’ NPC.
You can send 1–6 Heroes on a single Profession Quest. After completing a Quest, you will see an overview of the XP and items gained.
These items are then stored under your ‘Inventory’ (accessible via your user profile). You can sell these items for Gold as well via Vendor Zada in the Marketplace.

In-Game Tutorial For Beginners
We want to make the user experience as seamless as possible for newcomers to DeFi Kingdom.
Nolan the Sage will walk through new players on all the basics of DeFi Kingdoms, from setting up your wallet to what you can actually do at each of the locations.
