CRYSTAL Emissions Ending Plan Update
Greetings Adventurers!
As previously discussed, CRYSTAL emissions will be coming to an end, which we expect to happen around December 30th, 2023. In their place, we will be allocating 10% of in-game fees to reward LP stakers instead! The Gardening Quest will continue to be the best way to yield additional rewards from your LP, and emissions ending does not impact the return from Gardening Quests.
In order to facilitate the change in rewards, a new Master Gardener contract will be deployed in the coming weeks. This means that LP stakers will need to move and stake their LPs to the new contract. Given the holiday time that emissions are ending, and to respect the time of players, the new rewards will not go into effect as soon as emissions end.
Details will be provided in the early new year, but in the first couple weeks of 2024, the new contract will be available for staking and a specific date and time will be announced for the fee-sharing rewards to start, as well as the Gardening Quest to begin using the new contract to determine quest rewards.
No action is currently required. This is purely informational to update everyone on the plan, so all can be prepared for when the switchover occurs.
When this time comes, we will be turning off the withdrawal fees on the current Gardens, allowing players to remove their LP without penalty. Additionally, players will not need to split their seeds during this process, merely withdraw them from the current Gardens and stake them into the new Gardens contract.
